Coffee Cupping Workshop - Salisbury

$40.00

Coffee is a journey. It starts with a seed, grows into a fruit producing plant, and ends up as a liquid in your cup. Join us at Two Scoops Waffles & Ice Cream in downtown Salisbury, Maryland, for a coffee tasting adventure that will excite your palate and wake your senses.

During this hour-long event, you'll first learn a little about the origins and surprisingly short history of coffee, and how it came to be the thing we drink today. From there, we’ll talk about how and where it’s grown, and the various processes that coffee goes through to get from ground to cup.

Then, we’ll put it all in context as we taste several single origin coffees, as well as blends that are derived from those origins, in a traditional and standardized cupping setting. You’ll discover how to distinguish individual flavors and aromas, and develop an understanding of some of the diverse flavor profiles that come from the coffee growing regions of the world. In the end, you’ll come away with a deeper understanding of, and appreciation for, the coffee in your cup.

Workshop size is limited to 12 people. Each participant will receive a sample bag of whole bean coffee from the selection tasted.
